Best Food Pro Manual

Installation

Best Food Pro is a commercial theme, you can click here to sign up for a license.

It's very easy to install Best Food Pro on your website. After the signup, you should receive an email that contains your username and password to log in your CooThemes account. Please log in your account and download the best-food-pro.zip file that contains all of templates and images required for the theme to function properly.

Note: As Best Food Pro is a child theme of Theta theme, so you need to upload Theta theme with Best Food Pro.

There are 3 different ways to install Best Food Pro theme:

  • through WordPress dashboard
  • through your Cpanel/ web server interface
  • via FTP (File Transfer Protocol)

1. through WordPress dashboard

  • Log in your WordPress dashboard
  • Go to Appearance > Themes
  • Click Add New button
  • Click Upload Theme button
  • Click Choose File to find Theta zip file downloaded from your account before
  • Click Install Now to install Theta theme
  • After the theme is installed successfully, click Return to Themes page
  • Upload and install Best Food Pro zip file downloaded from your account before in the same way
  • Click Activate to activate Best Food Pro

2. through your Cpanel/ web server interface

  • Log in your web hosting account
  • Find File Manager on the Cpanel
  • Go to Web Root (public_html/www)
  • find your wp_content folder and double click on that
  • Go to Themes folder
  • Click Upload at the top of the page
  • click the Choose File button. Then navigate to the zip file of the theme on your computer, and upload it
  • Unzip or extract the theme by clicking Extract on the top of the page
  • Click Extract File(s) button to proceed

3. via FTP (File Transfer Protocol)

  • Unzip best-food-pro.zip and Theta.zip to your Desktop.
  • Using an FTP client to access your host web server. Go to public_html/wp-content/themes/
  • Upload the theme to public_html/wp-content/themes/
  • Go to Appearance > Themes and activate Best Food Pro

Home Page

Best Food Pro has many settings to allow you to customize your home page. Before customizing the following options, you must set up a Static Front Page, and then they will be displayed!

Note: To make full advantage of the theme, please install the recommended plugins: Contact Form 7, Kirki, One Click Demo Import and WP Google Maps.

2.1 Set up Home Page

To create the static front page, go to the WordPress Dashboard.

Create a Front Page:

  • In Pages, choose Add New.
  • Use any title for this page, here we title it "Home".
  • Click Document.
  • Change Template of this page into Homepage under Page Attributes.
  • Publish the Page.
  • Go to WordPress Dashboard> Settings > Reading.
  • Set Front page displays to A static page
  • In the drop down menu for Front Page, select Home
  • Click Save Changes.

2.2 Homepage Layout

Here you can enable sections you want to display on your home page and change their section order.

  • Go to Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > Homepage Layout
  • Click on the eye to enable or disable that section
  • Click on the section and drag and drop to change its order
  • Hit back button and customize the sections you just enabled

2.3 Slider Section Setting

To use Slider section, you should enable it in Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > Homepage Layout and then create sliders under Pages. The page title is the slider title, the page content is the slider description and the featured image is the slider image. Then go to Slider under Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > Slider Section Setting to select your sliders.

Here you can add or remove sliders, change title and description typography, font size, font color, and text transform etc. Do not forget to click Publish button on the top to save the changes.

To use video in your slider, please set the value to 1 in Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > Slider Section Setting.

After that, go to Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > Video Background Option to paste your video ID.

2.4 About Section Setting

To use About section, you should enable it in Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > Homepage Layout and then create an About page under Pages. The page content is the about description. Then go to About Us Content Select under Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > About Section Setting and select your About page.

Here you can select your About page, change title and description typography, font size, font color, button color and button text etc. This section comes with parallax and animation options and you can enable or disable them based on your needs. Do not forget to click Publish button on the top to save the changes.

2.5 Service Section Setting

To use Service section, you should enable it in Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > Homepage Layout.

To customize your service section, go to Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > Service Section Setting. Here you can add or remove service items, change title and description typography, font size, font color, and text transform etc. This section comes with parallax and animation options and you can enable or disable them based on your needs. Do not forget to click Publish button on the top to save the changes.

2.6 WooCommerce Section Setting

To use WooCommerce section, you should install WooCommerce plugin, set up your products and then enable this section in Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > Homepage Layout.

To customize your WooCommerce section, go to Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > WooCommerce Section Setting. Here you can select the product categories you want to display on this section, change title and description typography, font size, font color, and text transform etc. This section comes with parallax and animation options and you can enable or disable them based on your needs. Do not forget to click Publish button on the top to save the changes.

2.7 Advantage Section Setting

To use Advantage section, you should enable it in Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > Homepage Layout and then create Advantage pages under Pages. The page title is the Advantage title, the page content is the Advantage description and the featured image is the Advantage image. Then go to Advantage under go to Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > Advantage Section Setting to select your Advantage page.

Here you can add or remove advantage items, change title and description typography, font size, font color, and text transform etc. This section comes with parallax and animation options and you can enable or disable them based on your needs. Do not forget to click Publish button on the top to save the changes.

2.8 Team Section Setting

To use Team section, you should enable it in Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > Homepage Layout.

To customize your team section, go to Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > Team Section Setting. Here you can add or remove team members, change title and description typography, font size, font color, and text transform etc. You can also enable or disable your social link under this section setting. This section comes with parallax and animation options and you can enable or disable them based on your needs. Do not forget to click Publish button on the top to save the changes.

2.9 Fact Section Setting

To use Fact section, you should enable it in Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > Homepage Layout.

To customize your fact section, go to Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > Fact Section Setting. Here you can add or remove fact items, change title and description typography, font size, font color, and text transform etc. This section comes with parallax and animation options and you can enable or disable them based on your needs. Do not forget to click Publish button on the top to save the changes.

2.10 Gallery Section Setting

To use Gallery section, you should enable it in Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > Homepage Layout.

To customize your Gallery section, go to Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > Gallery Section Setting. Here you can add or remove gallery items, change title and description typography, font size, font color and text transform etc. This section comes with parallax and animation options and you can enable or disable them based on your needs. Do not forget to click Publish button on the top to save the changes.

2.11 Testimonials Section Setting

To use Testimonials section, you should enable it in Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > Homepage Layout.

To customize your testimonial section, go to Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > Testimonials Settings. Here you can add or remove testimonial items, change title and description typography, font size, font color, and text transform etc. This section comes with parallax and animation options and you can enable or disable them based on your needs. Do not forget to click Publish button on the top to save the changes.

2.12 Clients Section Setting

To use Clients section, you should enable it in Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > Homepage Layout.

To customize your client section, go to Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > Clients Section Setting. Here you can add or remove brand logos, change title and description typography, font size, font color, and text transform etc. This section comes with parallax and animation options and you can enable or disable them based on your needs. Do not forget to click Publish button on the top to save the changes.

2.13 News Section Setting

To use News section, you should enable it in Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > Homepage Layout.

To customize your News section, go to Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > News Section Setting. Here you can change how many news to display on your home page, section title and description typography, font size, font color, and text transform etc. Do not forget to click Publish button on the top to save the changes.

2.14 Contact Us Section Setting

To use Contact section, you should install Contact Form 7 plugin, copy the short code of the contact form you created, and then enable this section in Appearance > Customize > Feature Homepage Settings > Homepage Layout.

To customize your contact us section, go to Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > Contact Section Setting. This section comes with parallax and animation options and you can enable or disable them based on your needs. Do not forget to click Publish button on the top to save the changes.

2.15 Blog Section Setting

To use Blog section, you should enable it in Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > Homepage Layout.

To customize your blog section, go to Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > Blog Section Setting. Here you can change how many articles to display on your home page, section title and description typography, font size, font color, and text transform etc. This section comes with parallax and animation options and you can enable or disable them based on your needs. Do not forget to click Publish button on the top to save the changes.

2.16 Map Section Setting

To use Map section, you should install WP Google Maps plugin, get the short code of the map and then enable it in Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > Homepage Layout.

To customize your Map section, go to Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > Map Section Setting. Do not forget to click Publish button on the top to save the changes.

2.17 Subscribe Section Setting

To use Subscribe section, you should install and activate MailChimp for WordPress plugin, get the short code of the form and then enable it in Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > Homepage Layout. Please create a MailChimp account in order to use its service. Free accounts will only be able to create a form.

To customize your Subscribe section, go to Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > Subscribe Section. Do not forget to click Publish button on the top to save the changes.

2.18 Footer Tool Section Setting

To use Footer tool section, you should install WP Google Maps plugin, get the short code of the map and then enable it in Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > Homepage Layout and then create sliders under Pages. The page title is the slider title, the page content is the slider description and the featured image is the slider image. Then go to Slider under Appearance > Customize > Homepage Settings > Slider Section Setting to select your sliders.

Here you can change section title and description typography, font size, font color, and text transform etc. Do not forget to click Publish button on the top to save the changes.

Theme Setting Panel

3.1 General Theme Setting

3.1.1 Enable the Breadcrumb Nav

To enable the breadcrumb navigation in the blog, go to Appearance > Customize > Theme Setting Panel > General Theme Setting > Enable the Breadcrumb Nav. Do not forget to click Publish button on the top to save the changes.

3.1.2 Enable Return Top

To enable the Return Top button, go to Appearance > Customize > Theme Setting Panel > General Theme Setting > Enable Return Top. Do not forget to click Publish button on the top to save the changes.

3.1.3 Enable Loader

The loader will appear when your page is loading. To enable it, go to Appearance > Customize > Theme Setting Panel > General Theme Setting > Enable Loader. Do not forget to click Publish button on the top to save the changes.

3.1.4 Show article author information

If you want to show article author information on page and single page, please enable it by going to Appearance > Customize > Theme Setting Panel > General Theme Setting > Show article author information. Do not forget to click Publish button on the top to save the changes.

3.1.5 Select Body Font Family

If you want to change the body font, variant and font size, please change it by going to Appearance > Customize > Theme Setting Panel > General Theme Setting > Select Body Font Family. Do not forget to click Publish button on the top to save the changes.

3.2 Header Setting

3.2.1 Enable section header menu in the feature homepage

If you want the section menu to appear the header, you need to enable it. Enable it by going to Appearance > Customize > Theme Setting Panel > Header Setting > Enable section header menu in the feature homepage. Do not forget to click Publish button on the top to save the changes.

3.2.2 Box Header Center

To box header center, go to Appearance > Customize > Theme Setting Panel > Header Setting > Box Header Center. Do not forget to click Publish button on the top to save the changes.

3.2.3 Fixed Header

To enable a fixed header, go to Appearance > Customize > Theme Setting Panel > Header Setting > Fixed Header. Do not forget to click Publish button on the top to save the changes.

3.2.4 Enable search button in the header

If you want to display search icon in homepage header, enable it by going to Appearance > Customize > Theme Setting Panel > Header Setting > Enable search button in the head. Do not forget to click Publish button on the top to save the changes.

3.3 Footer Setting

3.3.1 Copyright text

To change the copyright information at the footer, go to Appearance > Customize > Theme Setting Panel > Footer Setting. Do not forget to click Publish button on the top to save the changes.

3.3.2 Social links

To change the social links at the footer, go to Appearance > Customize > Theme Setting Panel > Footer Setting. Do not forget to click Publish button on the top to save the changes.

3.4 Sidebar Setting

3.4.1 Sidebar Layout

The theme comes with 3 sidebar layouts. You can change its layout by going to Appearance > Customize > Theme Setting Panel > Siderbar Setting > Sidebar layouts, select the layout you like and click Publish button on the top to save the changes.

3.4.2 Show WooCommerce Sidebar

To show WooCommerce sidebar at your Shop, you can enable it by going to Appearance > Customize > Theme Setting Panel > Siderbar Setting > Show WooCommerce Sidebar, click Publish button on the top to save the changes.

3.5 404 page content Setting

The 404 page will appear when your page is not found. To change the page content, go to Appearance > Customize > Theme Setting Panel > 404 page content Setting. Do not forget to click Publish button on the top to save the changes.

Color

4.1 Header Text Color

To change the header text color, go to Appearance > Customize > Color > Header Text Color. Do not forget to click Publish button on the top to save the changes.

4.2 Background Color

To change the background color, go to Appearance > Customize > Color > Background Color. Do not forget to click Publish button on the top to save the changes.

4.3 Header Background Color

To change the header background color, go to Appearance > Customize > Color > Header Background Color. Do not forget to click Publish button on the top to save the changes.

4.4 Header Background Opacity

To change the header background opacity, go to Appearance > Customize > Color > Header Background Opacity. Do not forget to click Publish button on the top to save the changes.

4.5 Theme Color

To change the theme color, go to Appearance > Customize > Color > Theme Color Select. Do not forget to click Publish button on the top to save the changes.
